Your Therapist

Hi, I’m Dee,

I started my journey into Soft Tissue Therapy & Pilates having been injured myself and wanting to learn more about the human body and to learn a hands on approach for dealing with dysfunction and pain.  I retrained in Soft Tissue Therapy graduating with a Level 5 Professional Diploma in Clinical Soft Tissue Therapy with the Oxford School of Sports Massage. Through Pilates I avoided surgery on my back and regained functionally in my own body and went on to train as a Pilates Teacher with Body Control Pilates.
I work with clients of all ages, backgrounds and fitness levels as well as professional and recreational athletes, the majority of my clients want to maintain their bodies and health so they can enjoy life injury free. The majority of my clients visit initially to find relief from pain or discomfort, and then become long term clients where we focus on prevention and maintenance to avoid the niggles becoming future issues.
I hold my main clinic at a private treatment room at Zacs Marlow, a small, friendly, family run gym just off Marlow High Street. Zacs is open to all as its not membership based, so you don’t need to be a member or go to the gym to see me there.  I am also at Leo Gym & Yoga, on Marlow’s Globe Business Park, again you don’t need to be a member to see me at Leo’s.

In the past having suffered chronic pain for a number of years myself and having a great team to get me back on track I have an understanding of the physical and mental effects that pain and a supported recovery can have.

Professional Experience

I have worked with professional athletes as part of their training programme, amateur athletes and clients with sports injuries. I have worked with non sporting post op’ clients assisting their recovery process as well as clients in chronic pain and those with lifestyle or postural injuries. You don’t need to be involved in sports in order to benefit from a treatment as the techniques I use treat the soft tissues of the body, which everyone has!

Effective techniques

with proven results

The techniques are incredibly effective at freeing up tight tissues to rebalance posture and restore function in joints, leading to a reduction in pain.
