Here is a list of Frequently asked questions, if the answer to your question isn’t on the list please contact us info@yourbodyworkshop.co.uk .
Further to the most recent briefing from government today to avoid pubs, clubs, theatres and mass gatherings it’s my aim to remain open whilst taking sensible, measured steps to mitigate risks as the advice from government develops.
I want to reassure you that the health and safety of my clients is my top priority, which is why I want to give you an insight into the steps I have been taking since February and will continue to take and adapt as necessary amid the growing concerns around Covid19.
Clients are seen on a 121 basis and Zacs as a boutique gym has a very low footfall. If you would prefer to visit when there are no classes taking place so it’s only you and I in the building the best time to book is between 2.30pm and 5.30pm. I am limiting the number of clients I see to a maximum of 2 clients per day and will ensure there is sufficient time to clean down between client.
In advance of your appointment you will be sent a pre-screen email to complete and return prior to coming to your appointment to limit the risk of exposure to others and to help protect us and all.
I am following strict infection control as advised by NHS England including:
*All used surfaces and props are disinfected with anti-viral products after each client
*Fresh couch covers and towels are used for each client
*My hands & arms are washed and coated with antibacterial/antiviral gel before and after each client.
*I request that you wash your hands before your appointment, and I will give you some anti-viral gel on arrival. There are also handwash facilities at Zacs.
What can you do to help?
There are a few things you can do as a valued client to help protect us both too:
***If you or anyone in your household have any flu symptoms – cough, fever, aching limbs (however mild) please don’t come to your appointment – You can reschedule! ***
As usual if you are feeling unwell under my current Terms and Conditions Section 4 I ask you to contact me prior to your appointment to advise cancellation/reschedule. https://www.yourbodyworkshop.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/ .
For the latest and most up to date information on the virus please visit the NHS website https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/ and the government website regarding travel.
I will continue to monitor the situation and follow direction given by the government taking whatever action is necessary to protect our health, if I have to make the decision to close completely for a period I will keep the website and social media updated.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch on 07852874864 or info@yourbodyworkshop.co.uk
Thank you for your continued support, during these unprecedented times.

I have two clinic locations:
Zacs in Marlow with appointment options on weekdays and weekends, parking is nearby in Waitrose or Sainsburys car parks or for evening appointments on the high street. If you come into reception, there is a waiting area downstairs, if there is nobody at reception there may be a class in progress, if you take a seat and I will come and met you in reception. Zac’s has shower facilities.
Accessibility: Zacs treatment room is on the first floor up some stairs and a short walk to the car park.
I run my clinic on Mondays at Leo’s in Marlow, there is parking just outside in the spaces signposted as Leo’s. There is a reception lounge/cafe area to wait, where I will meet you at the time of your appointment. Leo’s has shower facilities.
Accessibility: Leo’s treatment room is on the ground floor and is a short flat walk from the car park, wide doorways and no stairs.
Massage is a hands-on treatment and therefore some degree of undress is required. It’s a good idea to wear some shorts, and suitable underwear, shorts for guys and ideally for ladies a normal bra as opposed to a sports bra and shorts if possible. Towels will be used for your comfort and dignity throughout the treatment. I advise removing necklaces and bracelets if possible.
If you have a specific in jury or condition it’s a good idea to gather your thoughts before the session with a list of dates of injuries and treatment which can speed things up. Payment is due at the end of the session either by card or cash.
If it is your first appointment, I will email you a consultation form prior to the appointment, if you can bring this with you already completed it will speed things up, meaning less admin time and more treatment time.
Although some aspects of sports massage can be uncomfortable and lead to soreness for a day or so after the treatment, it shouldn’t be painful during the session, your comfort will always be a priority. Different clients respond differently to massage and its important during the consultation that you are open about any previous reactions you have had to massage and feedback after your session. Some clients after a deep tissue session can feel tired for a day or so afterwards, this is a positive sign as the body is working hard to flush out the waste products from the muscles. Its advisable to drink water after the session as massage to re-hydrate the body and avoid alcohol.
If you are planning a competitive event, long cycle etc, please discuss timings of your last pre event treatment as the optimum time may be several days prior to the event for pre and a couple of days afterwards for a post event treatment, if you can factor in a treatment prior to your rest day this is ideal.
The number of sessions will depend on each individual. We recommend regular treatments every 4-6 weeks as part of an ongoing preventative maintenance plan rather than waiting until something goes wrong.
Take a look at our full terms and conditions for details on cancelling. https://www.yourbodyworkshop.co.uk/terms-and-conditions/ , the online booking system allows you to reschedule up to 48 hours beforehand.
The cost of your treatment will depend on the length of the session and if its your first appointment or a follow up. Payment is by Cash or Card at the end of the session. We are unable to offer credit.

I use doTerra high grade therapeutic essential oils to enhance the treatments in my practice through aromatherapy massage and during Soft Tissue Treatments by treating specific conditions or areas of the body with oils. I also use these oils during the doAroma Reiki Experience treatment which is an indulgent hour combining massage, oils and energy healing through Reiki.
These oils are naturally occurring, volatile aromatic compounds are found in the seeds, bark, stems, roots, flowers, and other parts of plants. I may use a single oil or a blend of oils.
I love to diffuse different oils to feel the benefit aromatically in my clinic depending on the treatment, time of year and client preference.
You can shop the doTerra range through my site, to purchase oils, diffusers and beauty products to use at home. If you need any help choosing please do contact me, The link to my shop is here https://www.mydoterra.com/deehudson2/#/
